The Eames Plywood Chair was designed by the husband and wife team of Charles and Ray Eames. This chair has often been referred to as “the most famous chair of the century” for its highly recognizable shape. The molded plywood construction also unintentionally makes it one of the first eco-friendly designs of the 20th century. The chair continues to be an icon of mid-century design, and is valued for its comfort as well as its unique construction. Available in a Dining Chair (referred to as the DCW model) as well as a Lounge Chair (referred to as the LCW model) style. The two styles are nearly identical except the Dining Chair is more upright, and the Lounge Chair slightly wider and more reclined.
