The intricate Artichoke Lamp was originally designed by architect and lighting pioneer Poul Henningsen in 1958 for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen, where it still hangs today. This beautiful lamp is now available as a reproduction for a fraction of the price of the original. The aptly named Artichoke Lamp is composed of a series of overlapping brushed aluminum "leaves," which reflect light from the bulb and produce soft glare-free light for the entire room. The frame is constructed of a highly polished chromed steel. Its impressive 24" size makes this lamp suitable for high ceilings or commercial spaces. This is a premium reproduction original Artichoke Lamp produced in 1958. Choose from brushed silver or lacquered matte white finishes. This lamp comes fully-assembled but requires installation by a professional electrician. Requires a standard household lightbulb (max 100w).
